ABOUT THE ARTIST
Kimlien Tran was born in Vietnam and came to the United States in 1980. She attended the University of Washington where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry. Kimlien has always been passionate about art and has experimented with various forms of mediums, including charcoal, pencil, watercolor, acrylic, pastel, and oil.
Her paintings tend to “capture the moment” and convey emotions, reflecting her own experiences and inner feelings. Many of her works are influenced by her heritage and Asian culture.
